Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary
Animal lovers on a Gold Coast getaway will fall in love with the famous Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, just a short drive from Deville luxury apartments Main Beach.
The award winning 27 hectare park is one of Australia’s oldest and most loved wildlife sanctuaries and has been protecting a diverse selection of our native animals for over 60 years. Among the park’s resident wildlife you’ll find fresh and saltwater crocodiles, wallabies, kangaroos, snakes and the most iconic of all Australia’s marsupials, the koala. Lend a hand feeding the colourful lorikeets that flock to the sanctuary every day for lunch, check out a traditional Aboriginal dance performance, catch an interactive presentation from a wildlife expert and don’t forget to visit the Wildlife Hospital to see the park’s good work in action.
Daredevil kids can head into the tree tops for the Green Challenge, a brand new high ropes adventure course set high above the rainforest, which features 63 unique challenges. Don’t forget your camera!
